How It Works — Falling-Film Multi-Effect Under Vacuum
- Feed & Preheat: Effluent is metered and preheated using clean condensate to save live steam.
- Effect 1 → Effect 2 → Effect 3: Live steam heats the 1st effect; generated vapor heats the next effects at lower pressures.
- Separation: Vapor–liquid separators ensure clean condensate recovery and stable circulation.
- Control of Concentration: Inline density/conductivity triggers discharge or recycle to meet target TDS/solids.
- Utilities & Emissions: Final vapor condenses in the surface condenser; non-condensables are removed by the vacuum system.
