A thermal fuse, also known as a thermal cutoff or thermal link, is
a safety device used to protect electrical appliances and circuits
from overheating. It operates by interrupting the electrical
current when the temperature exceeds a predetermined threshold,
thereby preventing potential fire hazards or damage to the
equipment.
