When a fault occurs in the user's T-connection of the 10kV overhead
distribution line, such as the fault is in its incoming line, or
although the fault occurs inside the user's incoming switch but its
protection action time limit is not matched with the substation
outgoing switch protection, it will cause the substation to go out.
The switch protection has tripped. If the nature of the fault is
permanent and the substation recloses unsuccessfully, an accident
in the medium-voltage user sector will cause the entire
distribution line to be out of power. This common spreading
accident in the distribution network will have a bad impact on the
society.
The ZW20-12 outdoor high-voltage AC boundary vacuum circuit breaker
is an ideal device to solve the above-mentioned accidents. A
zero-sequence current transformer is built in the outlet side of
the device, which is used in conjunction with the boundary
controller. Installed at the T-connection or user end of 10kV
overhead distribution lines, it can automatically remove
single-phase ground faults and automatically isolate phase-to-phase
short-circuit faults. Ensure the safety of electricity for
non-faulty users. It is suitable for use in substations, industrial
and mining enterprises, and rural power distribution systems for
protection and control and frequent operations.
