Customers from Belarus need to deal with iron and other impurities in treated waste water. and it needs advanced treatment before entering ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis unit. Because ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis equipment have higher requirements on the quality of influent water.

Below is client requirement and waste water parameter:

Total dissolved solids (TDS) - about 13100 mg/dm3

Suspended solids - 205.7 mg/dm3

Chloride ion (Cl-) - 700-800 mg/dm3

Sulfate ion (SO₄²-) - 1650-2750 mg/dm3

Total iron (Fe)- 3.5-135

Do I understand correctly, if iron content will be up to 3 mg/L - in that case will need 2 filters - sand and carbon, if iron content will be 6 mg/L - will need more? 3 or 4 filters?

----- if iron content will be up to 3 mg/L and 6mg/L. Both of them need 2 pcs iron remove filter(site need one tank, add air into the tank,means aerator, meanwhile add two iron removal filters) . and also need the sand filter, coal filter. total 4 filters.

If 3mg/L iron means 4-5 days wash media. if 6mg/L iron maybe 2-3 days wash media.
