Our carbon fibre flat bar is manufactured to engineering tolerances from pultruded unidirectional carbon fibres which means that all the strength of the bars runs laterally along their length. This carbon fibre bar can easily be cut and finished using simple workshop tools like a hacksaw and some wet-and-dry paper. Cutting and finishing a carbon fibre rod can also be perfectly safe if you follow some basic safety precautions.
