What are the components of the brake system?
The braking system is mainly composed of energy supply device,
control device, transmission device and brake. The main function of
the braking system is to slow down or even stop the moving car,
keep the speed of the downhill car stable, and keep the stopped car
stationary. A series of special devices that can forcibly reduce
the driving speed of a car.
Hydraulic oil guide is the hydraulic medium used in the hydraulic
system using liquid pressure energy. It plays the role of energy
transfer, system lubrication, anti-corrosion, rust prevention and
cooling in the hydraulic system.
For hydraulic oil, first of all, it should meet the requirements of
hydraulic device for liquid viscosity under working temperature and
starting temperature. Since the viscosity change of oil is directly
related to hydraulic action, transmission efficiency and
transmission accuracy, it is also required that the viscosity
temperature performance and shear stability of oil should meet
various requirements put forward by different applications.
Ensure good vehicle braking performance
Vehicles with good braking performance are required to reduce the
speed or stop quickly in a very short time and distance through
braking measures when driving at any speed. Good braking efficiency
plays an important role in improving the average speed of vehicles
and ensuring driving safety. The main measures to improve braking
efficiency include:

(1) shorten braking distance:
During the use of the brake, the brake clearance will gradually
increase due to the wear of the brake shoe friction plate and brake
drum. The increase of the reaction time of the braking system will
cause slow braking and insufficient braking force, prolong the
braking distance and reduce the braking efficiency.
When braking, the friction generated by the brake also depends on
the contact area between the brake shoe and the brake drum to a
great extent. With the increase of the contact area and the rapid
growth time of the braking force, the braking efficiency will be
improved and the braking distance will be shortened accordingly.
Under normal conditions, when a large friction force is generated,
the contact area between the brake shoe and the brake drum shall
reach more than 80%. In use, after the clearance increases due to
the wear of the brake, it must be checked and adjusted.
(2) prevent brake deviation:
When braking, the car automatically deviates from the original
driving direction. This phenomenon is called braking deviation.
Once the brake deviates, it is easy to cause serious accidents such
as collision, falling off the road ditch and even rollover. In
order to improve the stability of braking and ensure driving
safety, the vehicle is not allowed to have obvious deviation during
emergency braking.
The main reason for braking deviation is that the braking force of
the left and right wheels of the front wheel is different. When
braking, the rotating torque around the center of gravity is
formed, which makes the car tend to rotate, so it is easy to have
braking deviation. In order to avoid deviation, pay attention to
keep the brake clearance of left and right wheels and the tension
of brake shoe return spring consistent during use.
When replacing the friction plate, the products of the same model
and batch shall be selected, and the processing accuracy and
contact surface shall meet the requirements. And prevent hardening
layer of friction plate, oil stain, brake drum out of roundness or
groove, etc.
