Jekit 380x32mm Brake Rotor Cast Iron Disc Type III Floating Bell
Generally, there are two kinds of brake discs: one is solid brake disc, which is equipped on minivans, and the other is ventilated disc brake disc, which is used in most models. This kind of brake disc also includes perforated brake disc and non perforated brake disc
Solid disc:
As the name suggests, a solid brake disc is a solid metal disc for
braking, a solid metal disc!
This kind of disc is the most durable and strong one, but it has
poor heat dissipation effect, easy to overheat and poor braking
effect
ventilated disc brake:
Disc brake has the best heat dissipation! Because the holes on the
working surface of the brake disc greatly enhance its heat
dissipation and improve the cooling performance!
It can effectively reduce the braking noise! The small hole on the
brake disc can remove the friction powder of the brake pad, reduce
the side effects of the powder in the brake and reduce the brake
noise!
The ventilation disc itself is a hollow disc. The only difference is that it has holes and no holes. The heat dissipation of the non hole ventilation disc is slightly poor, and the possibility of abnormal braking noise is also higher. Its biggest advantage is that its service life is longer than that with holes!
In terms of material requirements, the alloy materials used for
perforated brake discs also have higher strength and more complex
manufacturing process, so the price is also on the high side!
Here to remind you, when choosing brake pads, it is best to choose
slightly softer brake pads or better ceramic pads. Although the
service life is shorter, the braking effect is good and it is not
easy to cause great wear to the brake disc!
The brake jitter in the later stage is the fault that the brake
pads are too hard and the brake discs are seriously worn!
1. In terms of design principle, the purpose of the holes and scribed lines on the brake pad is to increase the surface area and friction direct ventilation, and to enhance the heat dissipation performance of the brake system and the drainage performance in rainy and snowy weather;
2. It can effectively improve the braking force. Of course, such
products must use quality guaranteed brands produced by regular
manufacturers. I think that in today's society, steering and
braking are everyone's life;
3. Punching is better than scribing, because overheating of the
brake disc will cause deformation, and the direction will shake.
The perforated disc has good heat dissipation effect, so this
problem will not occur. Theoretically, the maximum wear limit of
the brake disc is 2mm, and a new brake disc must be replaced after
use. However, in actual use, most car owners do not strictly
implement this standard. The replacement frequency should also be
measured according to their driving habits.
