What is biodiesel?

Biodiesel is a natural renewable, and alternative fuel for any diesel engine. it is a liquid fuel made from oil seeds crops such as soybean and rapeseed, oil seeds such as oil palm and yellow lily, oilseed aquatic plants such as engineered microalgae and animal fats and waste catering oil, which is a high quality substitute for petroleum diesel.

The CO2 emitted during the combustion of biodiesel is much lower than the CO2 absorbed by plants during their growth, thus ameliorating the major environmental problem of global warming, which is harmful to mankind, caused by CO2 emissions. Biodiesel is therefore a truly green diesel. The development of biodiesel is of strategic importance to the sustainable development of the economy, the promotion of energy substitution, the reduction of environmental pressure and the control of urban air pollution.

Biodiesel contains no petroleum, is non-hazardous, non-flammable, non-toxic and is biodegradable.

Our patented biodiesel technology (Patent No. ZL 200620031879.7) is a fatty acid methyl ester liquid fuel that can replace diesel oil by using animal and vegetable fats and oils, waste from vegetable oil refining, and household waste oil as raw materials, and producing it through complex esterification and methyl esterification reactions.
