Avalon 841 Miner is an Application Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) hardware produced by Canaan Creative. Started in 2013, Canaan is one of the top developers and manufacturers of Blockchain servers and ASIC microprocessor chips. They also specialize in the production of custom-designed ASIC microprocessors for their Avalon mining brand.

Avalon Miner 841 is a Bitcoin miner that uses 16nm ASIC chip technology. Released in April 2018, it is a second 8th generation AvalonMiner model. The Avalon Miner 841 weighs about 4.7 kg, and its outer dimensions are 370mm x 150mm x 136mm. This Miner 841 lacks an in-built controller and requires a separate controller. It has a reliable and stable design, and a compact shell case helps conserve space.
