Aisi 430 1.0mm Thick In Coil Cold Rolled Stainless Steel Coils
Product description
What is the difference between stainless steel cold rolling and
stainless steel hot rolling?
Stainless steel cold-rolled plate is simply the steel plate with
thickness below 6mm and the surface is 2B and bright.
Stainless steel hot rolled plate is a steel plate with thickness
between 3mm and 16mm, and its surface has an industrial surface and
no smooth surface.
Stainless steel hot rolling
Strip steel is made from slab (mainly continuous casting slab) by
roughing mill and finishing mill after heating. From finishing the
last hot steel strip mill out through laminar flow cooling to the
set temperature, which consists of the winder coil, steel coil
after cooling, according to the different needs of users, with
different finishing line (flat, straightening, transverse or
longitudinal cutting, inspection, weighing, packaging and logo,
etc.) and become a steel plate, flat roll and longitudinal cutting
steel strip products.
Advantages:
1. Destroy the casting structure of steel ingot, so that the structure of steel becomes dense, the grain becomes fine, and the microstructure defects are eliminated.
2. The toughness and ductility of stainless steel hot rolling are good and the price is lower.
3. The torsion resistance of hot rolled stainless steel is better than that of cold rolled stainless steel.
Disadvantages:
1. The residual stress caused by uneven cooling makes the deformation, stability, fatigue resistance and other aspects of stainless steel hot rolling poor performance.
2. The mechanical properties of stainless steel hot rolling are far
less than that of cold rolling.
Stainless steel cold rolling
It is processed and rolled out on the basis of hot rolled stainless
steel plate rolls. Generally speaking, it is hot rolling - pickling
- cold rolling such a process. It is called cold rolling even
though the steel plate is heated by rolling in the process. Due to
the cold rolling after continuous cold rolling, the mechanical
properties are poor and the hardness is too high. Must undergo
annealing to restore its mechanical properties, no annealing is
called rolling hard coil. Hard roll is generally used to make
products without bending or stretching.
Advantages:
1, forming speed, high yield, and no damage to the coating.
2, plastic deformation ability, high yield point.
3, stainless steel cold rolling processing surface without oxide, good quality, high dimensional accuracy.
Disadvantages:
1. The wall thickness of cold-rolled stainless steel is small and the ability to bear localized concentrated load is weak.
2. Residual stress still exists in the section after forming, which makes the buckling performance of stainless steel become worse.
3, low toughness, easy to turn when bending, easy to bend when compression, torsion resistance is poor, the price is more expensive.
