Straw water filter maximizes the ease of water filtration for camping, hiking, travelling, survival and perfect as military surplus. A must-have protects you and your family from waterborne diseases. Feel free to drink directly from fresh water source. Filter cartridges replaceable.

Methods of Use

• Direct Filtration

-Place filter directly into the water source (4-8cm)

-Blow briefly into filter to remove any air lock.

-Gently sip water through the filter and drink

-After drinking shake out remaining water from lnlet.

• Bottle Filtration

-Fill a standard 28mm threaded plastic bottle with raw water.

-Thread the connector (lnlet) end of the filter onto the filled plastic bottle.

-Invert filter. Drink directly through the filter or squeeze the treated

water into a container.

3. Gravity Filtration

(Optional Reservoir)

-Fill the reservoir with raw water.

-Allow raw water to flow out of attached water reservoir hose to purge air from hose.

-Friction fit the end of hose to the connector (lnlet).

-Hang up the reservoir and take use of gravity to purify water. Allow filtered

water to flow out of the filter tip into a clean water collection container.

Note: Ensure there is no air lock in the hose connecting the water filter to the reservoir.

Air bubbles may prevent the water from flowing freely.

Filter Replacement
Carbon Fiber Filter Replcement:

-Remove cap. Pull down on rubber strap to expose the top of the filter body.
-Turn filter tip with integrated carbon fiber filter counter clockwise and pull up it to remove from the housing then replace it.

UF Filter Replcement:

-From the bottom, lightly push the UF hollow fiber filter up till it can be grabbed from the top
-Set aside the round spacer
-Replace a new UF filter.
-Take care not to misplace the round spacer which fit at the top of UF filter.

Cleaning & Maintenance
Frequence: Cleaning and replacement of UF filter and carbon filber filter depend on the quality of raw water employed.

Cleaning: Filter should be cleaned with drinkable water after each outing. Use drinkable water to wash the parts.
If water flow rate slow down, take off pre-filter. The UF filter can be removed from filter main body. The UF filter can be cleaned by rinsing with clean water and then shaking the filter with the open end facing down to dislodge any particulate.

Storage: Before storing you filter for a long time, the UF filter can be soaked in vinegar for 20 minutes as a disinfectant if dirty. After drinkable water cleaning, allow the parts to dry and then reassemble. Store your filter in a clean and dry place
