It uses the Tape & Reel (TR) package in order to optimize the performance of this voltage regulator. As you can see, this harley voltage regulator contains 8 terminations. There is a switching regulator that is compatible with the Surface Mount mounting. This voltage regulator 12v should operate at a temperature of -40°C~125°C TJ when operating. The switching frequency of this DC-DC switching regulator reaches 500kHz. Input voltage 5.5V is the dc to dc voltage regulator's minimum input voltage required for operation of the voltage regulators. The adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage (Min/Fixed) is 1.22V. Its 260 peak reflow temperature makes this regulator essentially indestructible. There is a DC/DC regulator in this family that belongs to the TPS5420 family.

The adjusting voltage regulator's output voltage is maintain at 31V. For switching regulator operation, 8 pins are used.
