The MC33063ADR is a PWM DC-to-DC converter IC that provides a cost-effective solution for implementing step-up/down and inverting DC-to-DC converters. This device has a wide operating input voltage range of 4.5V to 40V, and provides up to 1.5A of output current. The MC33063ADR also features programmable switching frequency of up to 500kHz, and includes a variety of protection features such as thermal shutdown, under-voltage lockout, and over-voltage protection.
