Description:
The MAX3243CDBR is a low-voltage, 3.0V to 5.5V, signal- and
power-transceiver IC with integrated charge-pump voltage
converters. It includes a full-duplex transceiver that supports
RS-232 and low-power RS-485/RS-422 communication standards. The
transceiver features a low operating current of 3.3mA and a low
standby current of 0.2μA, making it suitable for battery-powered
applications. The MAX3243CDBR includes an integrated charge-pump
voltage converter that generates the RS-232 transmit voltage levels
of +12V and -12V from a single 3.3V or 5V power supply.
