Vacuum conveying system for Chocolate and coffee
Chocolates, cookies, chips and coffee but also certain chemicals —
the vacuum conveyor handles all. Suitable for vacuum conveying of
food, but also chemicals that do not require the use of full acid
resistant stainless steel, Chiyu’s new design is a premium
heavy-duty vacuum conveyor.
Using the same design as the company’s premium range conveyors, but
in electropolished stainless steel (ASTM 304) rather than the acid
resistant grade (ASTM 316L), chiyu serves manufacturers of, for
instance, confectionary and baking goods, snacks, tea and coffee,
pet food, nutraceuticals, detergents and batteries.
Like all chiyu’s conveyors, chiyu offers a fully contained unit
that enables toxic and allergenic powders to be transported without
the risk of operators and the surrounding work environment being
exposed to hazardous materials.
chiyu’s unique technology, used throughout the conveyor range,
ensures that vacuum is created in the most energy and
cost-effective way possible, and is only used when the pump is
running. Automatic filter cleaning and an overall hygienic design
make easy to clean and requiring minimal maintenance. The conveyor
complies with contact requirements according to FDA, EC No
1935/2004 and EC No 10/2011.
Available in a wide capacity range from 3 to 33 liters per
conveying cycle, up to 8 tons per hour, it offers high throughput
with a small footprint.

Product Description
Vacuum Conveying is the process of moving bulk dry materials, such as powders, from place to place within a factory using suction. The material is transferred in a network of tubing from the pick up point or source to the customers process. Most Vacuum Conveying System transfer product based on a timed interval to the vacuum receiver. At the end of the timed sequence the discharge valve can open and the material conveyed can discharge in to the process.
There are two types of vacuum conveying. Dilute phase conveying and Dense phase conveying.
In Dilute phase conveying the material is entrained in the air stream and the is an almost equal part of air and product. This method is excellent for conveying almost any type of powder like sugar or flour.
In Dense pahse vacuum conveying the material is transferred in slugs within the convey tubing. The material moves slower then dliute phase conveying and is excellent choice for friable product or a blend of powders.
Using Scope
Vacuum conveyors can be widely used in magnetic materials industry,
food processing industry, plastic processing industry, lithium
power industry, coatings industry, chemical industry and
pharmaceutical industry etc.
