GW9-10 Series high voltage disconnect switch is an electrical switch used in high voltage power systems to isolate or disconnect a section of the system from the rest of the system. Application:

a high voltage transmission line for maintenance, repair, or to
prevent power flow during emergencies.
3 Capacitor bank switching: In power systems with capacitor banks, high voltage disconnector
switches are used to disconnect the capacitor bank from the power
system for maintenance or repair.
4 Load shedding: In case of an overload or other emergency situation, high voltage
disconnector switches can be used to shed load by disconnecting
certain sections of the power system.
5 Fault isolation: High voltage disconnector switches are used to isolate faulted
sections of the power system to prevent damage to equipment and
ensure continuity of power supply.
