Protective functions of BMS

1. Overcharge protection: Prevents the battery from being charged beyond its safe voltage limit.

2. Over-discharge protection: Prevents the battery from being discharged below its safe voltage limit.

3. Overcurrent protection: Detects and limits the flow of excessive current to protect the battery and connected devices.

4. Short circuit protection: Detects and cuts off the circuit in case of a short circuit to prevent damage to the battery.

5. Temperature protection: Monitors and controls the battery temperature to prevent overheating and potential hazards.

6. Cell balancing: Equalizes the voltage levels among individual cells in a multi-cell battery pack to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
