Product Description:
Laser welding utilizes the excellent directionality and high power density of laser beams to work. Through an optical system, the laser beam is focused on a small area, forming a highly concentrated heat source area at the welded joint in a very short time, thereby melting the welded object and forming a solid solder joint and weld seam.

Currently, aluminum alloy battery shells account for over 90% of the entire power battery. The difficulty of its welding lies in the extremely high reflectivity of aluminum alloy to laser, high sensitivity of gas pores during the welding process, and inevitable occurrence of some problems and defects during welding, the most important of which are gas pores, hot cracks, and explosion fire.
- Multipurpose: A set of AMB Laser Source can be used as three devices, a single open inner core can serve as a traditional single module fiber laser, a single open outer ring can serve as a semiconductor laser, and the inner and outer rings can be flexibly matched to play a role in preheating, post-treatment, surface treatment, modification.
- Less Spatter of Laser: The most troublesome issue in deep penetration welding is that the keyhole, as the main location for laser energy absorption, undergoes frequent internal energy transformation and complex stress. Currently, there is no good model to analyze the force movement behavior, so laser deep penetration welding has always been an unknown unstable factor. Fluctuations in external environmental conditions can easily cause fluctuations in the melt pool, leading to the collapse of the keyhole. If the keyhole has collapsed, it will block the opening of the keyhole, and high-pressure metal vapor inside the keyhole will escape, similar to a volcanic eruption, with macroscopic manifestations of a large number of splashes, pits, explosion points and other defects.
- The AMB Laser effectively alleviates the instability problem of the keyhole. The outer ring laser mainly expands the keyhole opening left and right, so that small fluctuations do not cause the keyhole to collapse and block the opening, reducing splashing, and greatly improving stability. The larger the outer ring light spot, the better the effect.
