Power Cable

that covers medium voltage cables for use in power distribution
systems. The standard specifies the construction, materials, and

"100% insulation" refers to the insulation material used in the
cable, which is expected to provide complete coverage and
protection for the conductors. In the case of 500mcm XLPE
(cross-linked polyethylene) insulation, it means that the
insulation layer completely surrounds the conductors, leaving no
exposed areas.
XLPE is a commonly used insulation material for medium voltage
