Disposable sputum suction catheter are composed of connectors and catheters, divided into silicone rubber and plastic types.
Silicone rubber suction tubes are made of silicone rubber material, plastic suction tubes are made of PVC material, and joints are made of silicone rubber material or PE material. They are divided into fourteen specifications according to different sizes.
The product should be sterile.

Usage process:

1. Adjusting negative pressure: Connect and check all components of the suction device, turn on the power, turn on the switch, check if the suction device is performing well, and adjust the negative pressure;

2. Connect the suction tube: Connect the suction tube and test suction with physiological saline to check the negative pressure and whether the suction tube is unobstructed;

3. Aspiration: Fold the suction tube with one hand, hold the front end of the suction tube in the other hand, insert the suction tube into the oral and pharyngeal area, relax the suction tube, rotate left and right, and lift and pull upwards to remove phlegm. Suck in the secretion from the pharynx first, then replace the suction tube and suck in the secretion from the deep part. After each tube change, use physiological saline to test suction;

4. Flushing: After suctioning, remove the suction tube and rinse the connecting pipeline with physiological saline to avoid blockage by secretions.
