Product Details
0.7μm Hydrophobic Glass Fiber Membrane Filter Without Binder
Our Glass Fiber membrane filters are made of pure borosilicate
glass fiber material without binder, and available in a wide range
of flow rates and throughput capacities. GF membrane is naturally
hydrophilic but after undergoing specialized treatment in
production, it could become hydrophobic and reach high levels of
gas permeability which can allow for fast pressure equalization and
airflow. For instance, in IV lines, glass fiber filter helps in the
dissipation of these gas bubbles. In addition to air venting, glass
fiber membrane can also be used to protect equipment from microbial
contamination during use. Due to the microporous structure of our
glass fiber membranes, the protective membrane allows sterile gas
to pass through with low pressure drop while providing a barrier to
aerosolized liquids and particles. These binder-free glass fiber
membrane Filters also have remarkable chemical stability, which
ensures that it can withstand harsh chemicals and maintain its
performance over extended periods without degrading. The GF filter
also exhibits exceptional temperature resistance, making it
suitable for use in various applications where high temperatures
may be present.
When it comes to pore size and formats, the glass fiber membrane
filters from XINNA are available in a wide range of options to
cater to different applications. The available pore sizes include
0.7μm, 1.2μm, 3μm, 5μm, 10μm, and 15μm. Formats can be cut-to-size
rolls, flat sheets and discs. Alternatively, custom pore sizes and
formats can also be manufactured to meet specific requirements and
specifications.
