0.22 ΜM Pore Size Transducer Protector Hemodialysis In-Line Filter
With PTFE Membrane
Transducer protectors are in-line filters specially designed to
protect hemodialysis transducers from blood and moisture. These
single-use TP filter units have female and male Luer-Locks, and are
integrated with premium hydrophobic PTFE membrane with 0.22 micron
pore size. PTFE membrane is the best filter media for air venting
application, with much better performance on corrosion resistance,
pressure resistance, chemical compatibility and can withstand more
types of sealing methods as compared to PVDF membrane used in
Millipore transducer protectors.
Featuring a cutting-edge hydrophobic membrane with a 0.22 μm pore
size, the in-line filter device is designed to safeguard internal
pressure monitoring lines from any potential
contaminants.Transducer protector is an antibacterial hydrophobic
air filter which by seamlessly connecting blood tubing with
dialysis machines, acts as a shield blocking bacterial and other
virals while allowing only sterile air to pass through, ensuring
the utmost protection for both patients and equipment by preventing
cross-contamination. Furthermore, the Transducer Protector works as
a barrier against blood and dialyzing fluid, effectively
safeguarding sensitive transducer monitoring devices from damage.
