Rotary voice coil motor is a kind of drive device that utilizes
electromagnetic induction principle to convert electrical energy
directly into linear or angular displacement, which is widely used
in various high-precision positioning control fields.
In scanning systems, which include laser scanners, optical imaging,
barcode scanning, scanning microscopes, etc.; rotary voice coil
motors are usually used to drive reflector lenses or prisms, so
that the laser beam is scanned quickly and accurately in accordance
with a set path.
For example, in LIDAR and barcode readers, the rotary voice coil
motor drives the lens to oscillate at a small angle at high speed
to realize scanning in the X-Y direction.
In medical imaging equipment such as optical coherence tomography,
rotary voice coil motors can be used to rapidly move optical
components for multi-layer, multi-angle imaging.
In scanning microscopes, rotary voice coil motors are used to
control the position of the probe head or sample stage, realizing
rapid image or signal acquisition and improving imaging speed and
resolution.
In printing and scanning equipment the VCM is used to move the
scanning head or adjust the lens focus for accurate, high-speed
scanning of images or documents.
Rotary voice coil motorized sub-coils are lightweight,short
response time,high frequency,high precision positioning.
