What is a Dust Collector Pulse Jet Valve?
Diaphragm pulse valves are the most important components of a baghouse pulse jet cleaning system.

On a pulse jet baghouse pulse valves (also called diaphragm valves) control the release of air pulses during the cleaning cycle. When the baghouse control board or timer board initiates a cleaning cycle it sends an electrical signal to the solenoids, when then activate the pulse valve. Inside the pulse valve, a rubber diaphragm opens and closes to release the compressed air stored in the air header tank. The air then passes through the valve into the blow pipes above the filters and then is directed down into the filters to clean them.

Pulse jet valves must do the following safety inspection before it is officially delivered:

1. Insulation resistance test:
(1) Measure the insulation resistance of the solenoid coil to the outer casing under the specified environmental conditions using a 500V meter with a range of 0MΩ to 500MΩ and an accuracy of 1 meter.
(2) Put the valve in the temperature regulation and humidity control box, and set the temperature to 35 degrees, and the relative humidity is 85%, apply a 50Hz, 250V sinusoidal AC voltage between the electromagnetic coil and the valve body for 1min. Check for breakdown.

2. Anti-vibration test: the valve is fixed on the vibration test bench, after the vibration frequency is 20Hz, the full amplitude is 2mm, after 30min vibration, check whether the fasteners of each part of the valve are loose, whether the work is normal.

3. Diaphragm service life test: Connect the clean air of nominal pressure to the air inlet of the electromagnetic pulse valve, and input the nominal voltage value of 0.1s width and interval of 3s on the Solenoid Valve, and record the number of continuous or cumulative work of the valve.
