The cassette features both horizontal and vertical robotic pickup flanges, making it easy to handle and transport.
Accurate equipment interoperability is ensured by the center notch track alignment and "H" bar, which work together to align the carriers vertically and horizontally.
These wafer carriers are assembled and shrink wrapped, providing an extra level of protection during shipping.
These carriers are designed to hold up to 25 wafers each and are recommended for upright transport and shipping of whole wafers. They consist of a base, a wafer carrying tray, and a lid (all shown below) and are available in sizes of 3" (76mm), 4" (100mm), 6" (150mm), and 8" (200mm).
The lid is designed with grooves to securely hold the wafers in place during transport.
Both the lid and the box have molded supports to minimize contact with the wafers while still keeping each wafer safely in place.
