Quality inspection report
What is a quality inspection report
Quality inspection reports are safety and performance tests for
products, which can be successfully entered into Tmall and JD.com
or other platforms such as supermarkets, or can be used as
reference standards for consumers. According to the three-level
standards (national standards, ministerial standards and the
company's own standards), quality assessment is carried out, basic
evaluation is made, and the reasons for qualified or unqualified
quality are analyzed. This is the main part of the quality
inspection report.
Quality inspection report
Why do we need to make a quality inspection report
Common report uses:
1. Entering online shopping malls such as JD.com and Tmall.
2. Bidding/competition.
3. Reports for project acceptance.
4. Supplier requirements.
5. Reports for publicity.
6. Entering 4S stores (general automotive products)
7. Reports for shopping needs.
8. Reports required by stores (such as Wal-Mart, Carrefour,
Tianhong, Guoanju, B&Q, etc.)
Note: If electronic and electrical products are to be sold on JD.com and Tmall, it is necessary to confirm whether the product needs 3C certification. If it is not within the scope of 3C, the test report is useful. If it is within the scope of 3C, 3C certification must be provided first.
Purpose of test report:
1. Determine whether the product quality is qualified;
2. Determine the product quality grade or the severity of the defect;
3. Check the process flow and supervise the process quality;
4. Collect statistics and analyze quality data to provide a basis for quality improvement and quality management activities;
5. Implement arbitration inspection to determine the responsibility for quality accidents.

1. Provide users with qualified products, expand market share, and thus reduce quality costs;
2. Obtain qualified raw materials, purchased parts and outsourced parts to ensure the quality of enterprise products;

example, the quality inspection report requirements for clothing,
home textiles, and children's clothing categories include:
ingredient content, full set of GB18401, logo, appearance quality,
saliva resistance, down content, filling amount, raw material
requirements, etc.
Application process
Step 1: Determine the scope of product testing
1. Consult the testing agency to explain the purpose of the product
report, product characteristics and other information;
2. After receiving an application that meets the requirements, the
certification body will issue an acceptance notice to the
applicant, notifying the applicant to send or mail relevant
documents and materials.
Step 2: Sample Receiving
1. The applicant shall directly deliver the sample to the
designated testing agency. After paying, the applicant shall fill
in the payment voucher as required. The testing agency shall
inspect and accept the collected samples and fill in the sample
acceptance report. For unqualified samples, a sample rectification
notice shall be issued and the sample acceptance report shall be
filled in after rectification.
2. After the sample is accepted, the testing agency shall fill in
the sample inspection progress sheet and report it to the
certification agency. After receiving the sample inspection
progress, the certification agency shall issue a formal acceptance
notice to the applicant and a test task book to the testing agency,
and the sample test shall officially begin.
Step 3: Sample Inspection
1. The work that the enterprise should do during the type test
stage is: send the experimental samples, required parts and
technical information, understand the progress of the test, and if
unqualified items occur, timely rectification shall be carried out
in accordance with the sample test rectification notice.
2. After the sample test is completed, the testing agency shall
fill in the sample test result notice, and the testing agency shall
also transmit the test report and other materials to the
certification agency.
Application Materials

Test report fee, validity period and cycle
How much does it cost to make a test report?
The fee is related to the test product, test item, and test qualification. Different test products correspond to different test standards, and the test items are also different. Whether there is a test qualification or not, the test fee will not be different. In addition, the test fee for full inspection and partial inspection of the test standard is also different, so these issues must be understood clearly before the test.
How long is the validity period of the test report?
Regarding this issue, it mainly depends on the test product and the
inspection standard. Generally speaking, as long as the test is not
updated, the test report will remain valid. However, there are
special cases. If it is used on an e-commerce platform, they
generally only recognize products within one year. So this depends
on the requirements of the platform or the buyer.
How long does it take to test the test report?
Depends on the test items. The more test items, the longer the
time. The more complex the test items, the longer the time.
