Certification Introduction:
GB/T 36276-2023 "Ion Batteries for Electric Power Storage" will be
released at the end of December 2023 and will be
Implemented on July 1, 2024. With the rapid development of the
battery energy storage market in recent years, accidents have also
occurred one after another.
Based on this, compared with the old version of the standard in
2018, the overall structure of the new version of the standard
remains basically unchanged, but the technical conditions
The software is more stringent and the testing requirements are
more complete.
The structural hierarchy of the energy storage system is as
follows: battery cells are connected in series and parallel to form
battery modules, battery modules are connected in series and
parallel to form battery clusters, battery clusters are connected
in parallel to form a battery energy storage system, and battery
energy storage systems are connected in parallel to form a battery
energy storage power station. The performance and safety of the
battery system are the cornerstones of the operation of energy
storage power stations.
GB/T 36276-2023 covers key operating parameters and performance
safety from battery cells, battery modules to battery cluster
levels, and puts forward clear requirements for all levels of
batteries.
Overall, the new version of GB/T 36276 has many changes, such as:
♦ Performance part: All performance index requirements have been
tightened;
♦ Cycle part: In order to shorten the cycle time, it was changed to
45C cycle;
♦ Thermal runaway part: changed to dual trigger of overcurrent and
heating;
♦ Safety part: The test conditions are also tightened, and the
short circuit and extrusion conditions are more stringent;
Strict testing requirements pose great challenges to manufacturers.
Manufacturers also need to keep abreast of the new version of the
standard requirements and make targeted design changes to their
products to ensure that they successfully pass the test.
