Features:
● Metcal has four series of Soldering Cartridges with dofferent temperatures as below:
500 series = maximum tip temperature: 260℃
600 series = maximum tip temperature: 315℃
700 series = maximum tip temperature: 315℃
800 series = maximum tip temperature: 315℃
● Metcal Cartridges sense the load and instantly deliver the right
amount of heat directly to the solder joint.
● Operates at lower and safer temperatures. Power is delivered in
proportion to the load, which eliminates overshoot.
● No calibration required-saves money and eliminates system
down-time.

Suggested Maintenance Producedure:
1. Operate at the lowest possible temperature. Operating at
temperatures execeeding 470℃ dramatically increases the formation
of iron oxides, which results in accelerated tip failure.
2. Tip cleaning sponge is one of the most common cleaning methods.
While you are soldering, you can wipe the tip across a sponge to
wip off any excess solder, dirt, or oxides. Make sure to use only
pure cellulose sponges.
3. Add rosin core solder of adequate diameter(0.8mm, or larger) to
the working end of the tip regularly.
