AISI 201 304 310S 20mm 4mm Gold Mirror Stainless Steel Sheets
What is the difference between 304 and 316 stainless steel sheet?
The key difference between 304 vs 316 stainless steel that makes
them different is the addition of molybdenum, an alloy that
drastically enhances corrosion resistance, especially for more
saline or chloride-exposed environments. 316 stainless steel
contains molybdenum, but 304 does not.
Why use 316L stainless steel?
For example, the “L” stands for “low” in 316l stainless steel and
signifies that this alloy has a very low carbon content. The 316l
variant is also more resistant to weld decay in comparison with 316
and it can withstand higher temperatures. That's why 316l is used
often in marine and construction projects.
