Theory
The excavator swing motor is usually powered by a hydraulic system.
The hydraulic system controls the swing motor through the flow and
pressure transmission of oil. The hydraulic pump sends hydraulic
oil into the swing motor to generate a high-pressure oil flow,
which drives the internal piston or gear assembly of the swing
motor to rotate. The gear transmission or piston push mechanism
inside the swing motor converts hydraulic energy into mechanical
energy, so that the upper part of the excavator can rotate.
The function of the excavator swing motor is to realize the swing
function of the excavator. It enables the excavator to rotate 360
degrees when working, which is convenient for the operator to
adjust the working position and direction of the excavator. By
controlling the hydraulic system of the swing motor, the operator
can achieve smooth rotation, variable speed rotation, and stop
