Differential Bevel Gear Set Non-Parallel Intersection Transmission
The key to the principle of non-parallel intersection axis gear is:
- Helical tooth design: The tooth is spiral around the circumference, so that the gear
teeth gradually contact and engage smoothly, and the force can be
transmitted efficiently even if the shaft is not orthogonal.
- Tooth contact mode: multiple teeth are in contact at the same time, the load
distribution is wider, the wear and noise are reduced, and the load
bearing capacity is enhanced.
- Offset and taper angle: The offset angle and the bevel angle determine the gear shape and
the intersection direction of the shaft, the former is the
displacement of the rotating shaft relative to the centerline, and
the latter is the angle between the rotating shaft and the tooth
surface.
- Tooth shape: Accurately calculate the tooth shape to ensure good engagement and
force transmission, optimize contact, reduce backlash, and evenly
load the load.
- Manufacturing accuracy: manufacturing requires high precision, and professional cutting
methods such as Gleason or Klingenberg are commonly used to ensure
smooth tooth profile and operation.
- Axial and radial loads: Specially designed and meshed to withstand axial and radial loads,
optimize load distribution, and maintain alignment and torque
