Methionine iron chelate is a third-generation trace mineral feed
additive. It is formed by the combination of a metal ion with a
methine molecule to form a rationally structured ring compound.
This organic ring compound is very stable in the volatile
environment before passing through the intestine, allowing organic
iron to reach target organs tissues, thus maximizing the
utilization rate of trace minerals. In target organs or tissues,
methionine iron chelate is absorbed in the form of the entire
