New synthesis process of methionine synthesis
As the health food market continues to grow, methionine has
gradually become an emerging nutrient that people are paying
attention to.
Taste. The newly synthesized methionine synthesis process is an
efficient, environmentally friendly and sustainable technology.
The following will take the production of 1 ton of methionine as an
example to introduce the Xinhe Cheng methionine synthesis process
in detail.
First, let’s introduce the role of methionine. Methionine is one of
the essential amino acids and is not found in the human body
Methionine synthase must be obtained from food. Methionine can be
converted into a variety of other beneficial substances in the
human body, such as heparin, glycine, and ursolic acid, which can
enhance immunity, reduce fatigue, and promote fat metabolism.
Therefore, methionine is widely used in health products, functional
foods, medicine and other fields.
Process flow:
1. Synthesis of food-grade cysteine (DL-HCYS). React ammonia and
hydrogen sulfide under the action of a trans-structured catalyst to
generate cysteine. The optimal reaction conditions for this
reaction are: ammonia consumption is 60-70mo1/h, hydrogen sulfide
consumption is 25-40mo1/h, reaction temperature is 140-180°C, and
reaction pressure is 1.0-1.5MPa.
2. Recrystallization of DL-HCYS. DL-HCYS with a purity of 50%
detected by ultraviolet light first passes the detection, and then
crystallizes in a cooling crystallizer to obtain DL-HCYS with a
purity of more than 99.5%. The optimal conditions for
recrystallization are: temperature of 80°C, pH value of 2.5-3.5,
growth rate of 1-2mm/h, and crystal size of 5-10mm.
3.Conversion of DL-HCYS. The recrystallized DL-HCYS is converted
into methionine through an enzymatic reaction. The optimal
conditions for transformation are: the dehydrogenation dosage of
the food-grade Alternaria L-Megenches secondary metabolite is 6,
the reaction time is 10 hours, the reaction temperature is 35°C,
and the pH is 7.0.
4. Extraction of methionine. The material after the reaction is
extracted with water, decolorized and re-extracted. The optimal
conditions for extraction are: the volume ratio of water to water
is 3:1, the stirring time is 30 minutes, the extraction temperature
is 50°C, and the re-extraction temperature is 40°C.
5. Refining of methionine. The extracted methionine is decolorized
with activated carbon and then refined with ion exchange resin. The
optimal conditions for refining are: activated carbon dosage is 3%
(w/v), inlet and outlet flow rate is 30BV/h, water washing level is
2 times, and the pH value of ion exchange resin is 7.0.
