Safety instructions
- Pump types A15VSO and A15VLO are designed for use in open circuits.
- Project planning, installation and commissioning of axial piston units require the involvement of skilled personnel.
- Before using an axial piston unit, please read the corresponding instruction manual in its entirety. It is available from Bosch Rexroth on request.
- The characteristics of the axial piston unit may change due to different operating conditions (operating pressure, oil temperature).
- Working line ports:
• The ports and fixing threads are designed for the maximum
specified pressure. The machine or system manufacturer must ensure
that the safety factors for the connecting elements and lines meet
the specified operating conditions (pressure, flow, hydraulic oil,
temperature).
• The working line ports and function ports are intended for
hydraulic lines only.
- The data and instructions contained here must be observed.
- Before finalizing your design, please request the binding
installation drawing.
- Not all versions of this product are approved for safety
functions according to ISO 13849. For reliability parameters (e.g.
MTTFd) regarding functional safety, please consult your responsible
contact at Bosch Rexroth.
- The pressure controller is not a backup device in the event of
pressure overload. A separate pressure relief valve should be
installed in the hydraulic system.
- The following tightening torques apply:
• Fittings:
Observe the manufacturer's specifications for the tightening
torques of the fittings used.
• Mounting screws:
For mounting screws with ISO metric threads in accordance with DIN
13 and threads in accordance with ASME B1.1, we recommend checking
the tightening torques of the respective housing in accordance with
VDI 2230.
• Threaded holes of the axial piston unit:
The maximum permissible tightening torque MG max for the threaded
holes is a maximum value that must not be exceeded.
• Locking screws:
For the metal locking screws supplied with the axial piston unit,
the required tightening torque MV for the locking screws should
apply.
