A hydraulic pump is a power component in a hydraulic system, which
serves as a power source for the hydraulic transmission system.
Hydraulic pumps change the sealing volume through movement to
suction and compress liquids, thereby converting mechanical energy
into hydraulic energy. There are many types of hydraulic pumps,
including gear pumps, vane pumps, plunger pumps, and screw pumps.
Each component of a hydraulic pump has its specific functions and
functions. The following is a description of the main components of
a hydraulic pump:
1. Gear pump: It is composed of two or more gears that mesh with
each other in the casing, and the liquid is moved or pressurized by
changing and moving the working space volume between the gears.
Gear pumps have a small volume, simple structure, and do not have
strict requirements for oil cleanliness, making them relatively
inexpensive. However, the unbalanced force on the shaft in the gear
pump can easily cause wear and leakage.
2. Vane pump: composed of rotor, stator, blades, and casing. The
rotor rotates inside the stator, driving the blades to rotate
within the enclosed shell, causing a change in the working volume
and achieving oil suction and discharge. The vane pump has uniform
flow rate, smooth operation, low noise, and high volumetric
efficiency, but it requires high cleanliness of the oil.
3. Plunger pump: composed of plunger, cylinder body, sealing ring,
control valve, etc. The plunger moves back and forth in the
cylinder body, changing the volume of the sealed working space to
achieve oil suction and drainage. The plunger pump has high
pressure, adjustable flow rate, and low requirements for oil
cleanliness, but it has a complex structure, large volume, and high
cost.
4. Screw pump: composed of screws, casing, sealing components, etc. The screw rotates inside the shell, causing a change in the volume of the sealed working space, achieving oil suction and drainage. The screw pump has stable flow rate, high pressure, low noise, simple structure, and long service life, but it requires high cleanliness of the oil.
In addition, the hydraulic pump also includes other auxiliary components such as oil tank, oil filter, cooler, etc. These components are used to provide functions such as storage, filtration, and cooling of hydraulic oil to ensure the normal operation of the hydraulic system.
