The pick and place capping machine is engineered and fabricated to accommodate caps that cannot be directly fed onto bottles. Primarily utilized for capping daily chemical bottles, cosmetics containers, and pilfer-proof caps, this capper can be integrated within our filling machine or used as a stand-alone unit. It is available with 1 or 2 heads, capable of achieving speeds of up to 4,000 caps per hour (dependent on cap and bottle type and size).

The pick and place (P&P) system is an automated capper designed to pick, place, and torque caps for PET, PVC, and glass bottles. Featuring a star wheel indexing system, it effectively controls and manages delicate bottles. Additionally, the star wheel aids in maintaining bottle stability during torque application.

The Npack auto pick and place capper is compatible with various bottle types, including PET, PVC, plastic, and glass. To prevent cap damage, it offers adjustable electronic torque settings.

1. Bottles are processed on star wheels, requiring a changeover of the star wheel for different bottle sizes.

2. Ensures stable operation, primarily suitable for containers under 1000ml.

3. Caps are fed using various systems, including elevators, vibrators, and centrifuge plates, which store and transport the caps to the dispenser and chute.

4. Cam divider or pneumatic rail, equipped with vacuum or robotic hand systems, is employed for cap picking and placement.

5. Capping heads are customized based on cap types and driven by servo motors.

6. Capping torque can be adjusted via the HMI (Human-Machine Interface).

Principle of Operation:
Filled bottles are conveyed along a conveyor belt and guided into an in-feed star wheel by an in-feed worm. As the bottles travel through the in-feed star wheel, they individually pick up caps from a delivery chute. Descending rotary sealing heads then apply the desired pressure to the neck of each bottle. Sealing occurs in a programmed roll-on manner, with the caps accurately positioned mechanically by a rotating unscrambler to ensure correct alignment into the chute. Once the chute is filled, the drive for the rotating unscrambler is disengaged, preventing any potential damage to the caps. Sealing is achieved through the rotation of the sealing head and the transfer movement of sealing threading rollers driven by a sealing cam. Finally, the sealed bottles are discharged by an exit star wheel onto conveyors
