The AC-powered unit (100–240VAC) supports 24 digital inputs (PNP/NPN) and 16 relay outputs (2A), ideal for high-current applications. With four analog inputs and two outputs, it simplifies process control, including PID tuning for temperature or pressure regulation. Four high-speed counters (100kHz) and pulse outputs (up to 100kHz) enable precise multi-axis motion control, making it suitable for robotics, conveyors, and CNC machinery.

Equipped with a USB port for programming and configuration, the CP1H-XA40DR-A supports diverse communication protocols, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus, and Profibus, via optional expansion boards. It integrates with CJ1-series special I/O units and accommodates up to seven CP1W expansion modules, expanding local I/O to 320 points. Built-in safety features like short-circuit protection and a 300mA auxiliary 24V DC power supply enhance reliability. The PLC’s compact design (150x90x85mm) and DIN-rail mounting ensure space-efficient installation in industrial panels.
