Product Description
Active balancing energy transfer
When the BMS chip detects that the battery voltage gap is too large, it immediately starts the balancing control. Under the control of the energy transfer circuit, the high-voltage battery transfers energy to the adjacent low-voltage battery,
increases the voltage of the adjacent low-voltage battery, and makes the voltage of the adjacent battery equal or similar,
and finally achieves the same voltage for all the batteries in the entire battery pack (the highest can be charged to the lowest, the highest can be charged to the entire group, or the entire group can be charged to the lowest).
During balancing, a short-term high current can be used to achieve fast balancing; therefore, the active balancing method has relatively low requirements for battery consistency, and it is better than the passive balancing method in performance.
Even though its structure is relatively complex and the cost is relatively high, it may still become the mainstream method of BMS power balancing in the future.
