SC Attenuator
SC Attenuator is an SC type connector used to reduce the optical signal power in fiber optic transmission. It reduces the optical signal power by adding a certain length of highly absorbent additional material between the two ends of the SC connector.
SC Attenuators typically come in two types, fixed SC attenuators and adjustable SC attenuators. Fixed SC attenuators usually utilize a predetermined fixed amount of attenuation, while adjustable SC attenuators allow the user to adjust the amount of attenuation as needed.

SC Attenuator is connected in the same way as SC type connector and can be used together with SC type fiber optic connector, which is usually used for fiber optic cable testing, optical signal conditioning in fiber optic communication system, etc. The attenuation of SC Attenuator is usually selectable from 1dB to 30dB, which is selected according to the different application requirements.
