Standard 5.5 mm thick tungsten carbide blades are chosen for their durability. Designed for drilling in soft to medium-hard formations like sandstone, shale, and clay, the drag bit uses a stepped profile with cutting elements of varying sizes positioned at intervals along its length. Made from tungsten carbide or diamond, these wear-resistant and durable cutters enable efficient penetration, reducing the risk of bit sticking in the borehole.
