Material Composition
1.Base Material: A biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film is
used. This film undergoes a special biaxial stretching process, which
endows it with high mechanical strength and toughness in both the
longitudinal and transverse directions, providing good support and
durability for the adhesive tape.
2.Adhesive: An acrylate-based pressure-sensitive adhesive emulsion,
such as butyl ester, is commonly used. The pressure-sensitive adhesive emulsion is evenly applied to the
surface of the BOPP film, and the thickness of the adhesive layer
is generally between 8μm and 28μm. Its content directly affects the initial adhesion and holding power
of the tape.
Specification Parameters
1.Width: Common widths include 980mm, 1270mm, 1280mm, 1610mm,
1620mm, etc., and it can also be customized according to customer
requirements.
2.Length: Generally, there are options of 4000m, 5000m, 6000m, etc.
3.Thickness: The total thickness of the BOPP original film and the
adhesive layer is usually between 32 microns and 65 microns, and
the commonly used thickness range is 45 microns to 55 microns.
4.Paper Core: A neutral paper core with an inner diameter of 3
inches is generally used.
