1. Description Of Mo-47.5%Re Molybdenum Rhenium Alloy 0.5mm Sheet:
Molybdenum-rhenium alloy sheet is an alloy composed of molybdenum
as the matrix and adding different contents of rhenium element.
Both molybdenum and rhenium are refractory metals. Combining the
two components, the molybdenum-rhenium alloy has the high
temperature physical properties of rhenium, the good mechanical
properties of molybdenum, and the inherent excellent properties of
molybdenum-rhenium alloy.
The rolling deformation can reach 90%. Molybdenum can be added with
47.5% or 41% rhenium to form a molybdenum-rhenium alloy (nominal
composition of 50%Mo+50%Re), which greatly improves its ductility,
weldability and formability.
Molybdenum-rhenium alloys maintain good ductility even after high
temperatures.
