What is battery-powered underground loader/scooptram/LHD?
Diesel LHD and electrically techered LHD is widely used in underground mining industry currently. Different from them, battery-powered LHD uses battery as energy sources. Why you need battery-powered underground loader/scooptram/LHD?
Tethered electric LHD has existed for more than 50 years, diesel LHD even has a longer history. They are manufactured by Sandvil, Epiroc and many other companies. Therefore, the hard rock mining industry is familiar with them. But,diesel LHD and electrically techered LHD present many problems to the mine operator.
As battery technology advances, benefits will accrue for replacing them with battery-powered scooptram in underground mining.

SL2 Battery is a battery loader with a rated capacity of 2 tons, which can be upgraded to 3 tons according to users' needs. It can realize zero emission, low heat dissipation and low noise, which can reduce the requirement and cost of underground ventilation, and help you realize a cleaner, safer and quieter underground environment.
