Acid resistant brick is a kind of corrosion resistant material,with the quartz, feldspar, clay as the main raw material, making by high temperature oxidation decomposition. In chloride brine temperature, Acid proof bricks have excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, nitric acid and other acids and alkali at room temperature for any concentration of classes, except hydrofluoric acid and thermal phosphoric acid.

The main composition of acid resistant bricks is sio2, it can form a lot of polyaluminium andalusite under high temperature roasting, which is a kind of acid of high performance material. Because the acid-proof brick's structure is tight, bibulous rate is small, at room temperature it can also be resistant to any concentration of alkaline medium, but not resistant to high temperature of molten alkali.
