Simple and compact structure: The basic structure of Rexroth gear

Precautions for the use of Rexroth gear pumps
Selection and use of hydraulic oil:
It is strictly forbidden to add diesel to the gear oil for
dilution, and do not bake the rear axle and transmission due to the
impact of winter starting, so as to avoid serious deterioration of
the gear oil. If this happens, low-viscosity multi-grade gear oil
should be used instead.
Do not confuse the classification number of engine oil and oil
pump. The viscosity level of gear oil and engine oil is not
related, and the same model cannot be used interchangeably.
Reasonable use of oil pumps is conducive to gear maintenance. Gear
oil has a long service life. If single-grade oil is used, a
different viscosity number should be used during seasonal
maintenance. Old oil should be properly stored to prevent moisture,
mechanical impurities and waste oil pollution.
Change oil in time. The new oil should be replaced according to the
specified oil change index. If there is no oil quality analysis
method, the oil can be changed according to the specified period.
The oil change period recommended by the automobile manufacturer is
30,000-48,000 km. When changing the oil, the old oil should be
released while it is hot, and the gears and gearbox should be
cleaned before adding new oil. When refueling, moisture and
impurities should be prevented from mixing.
The amount of oil should be appropriate, not too much or too
little.
Installation and connection:
The oil suction height of the pump shall not be greater than 0.5m.
The transmission device should ensure that the force of the driving
shaft of the pump is within the allowable range.
The rotation direction of the pump cannot be wrong, that is, the
position of the oil inlet and outlet of the pump cannot be wrong.
When disassembling and assembling the pump, it must be strictly
carried out according to the factory instruction manual.
The installation between the pump drive shaft and the output shaft
of the prime mover adopts an elastic coupling, and its coaxiality
deviation should be less than 0.1mm, and the coaxiality deviation
of the sleeve coupling should be less than 0.05mm.
Tighten the screws of the pump inlet and outlet pipe joints, and
the sealing device should be reliable to avoid suction and oil
leakage, which will affect the working performance of the pump.
The inlet and outlet diameters of the pump should not be smaller
than the inlet and outlet diameters of the pump. The oil inlet pipe
should use a slightly larger diameter, the shorter the better, the
elbow should use a relatively large bending radius, and the valve
on the pipeline should use a gate valve to reduce resistance.
Before installation, check whether the pump body and the motor are
damaged during transportation, such as whether the motor is damp,
and whether the dust cover of the pump inlet and outlet is damaged
to allow dirt to enter the pump cavity.
The installation should be selected in a dry and bright place so
that the management personnel can observe the gear pump during
operation. If it is necessary to install it near the wall, an open
space must be reserved for easy disassembly and maintenance. Do not
install the pump in a humid, sunny, windy and rainy place. If the
installation site is likely to be flooded, the oil pump must be
located above the highest water level.
Operation and maintenance:
Before starting, it is necessary to check whether the overflow
valve (safety valve) in the system is at the set allowable
pressure.
A mesh filter is often installed at the pump's oil suction port,
and its filter accuracy should be less than 40μm. The filter
installed on the system's oil return line should have an accuracy
of less than or equal to 20μm.
If the pump is not used for a long time, the pump should be
separated from the prime mover.
