Precautions for the use of Danfoss cycloidal motors
Installation:
The mounting bracket must be sufficiently rigid and the motor must
not vibrate.
The output shaft of the motor must be coaxial with the center line
of the connected coupling.
When the motor's oil inlet and return oil use steel pipes, the
stress on the pipeline must be completely removed to ensure that
the pipeline does not exert any force on the motor.
When connecting the drain pipe, the resistance of the return oil
should be controlled below 0.3MPa, and the return oil pipe should
be connected to the oil tank separately, and must not be connected
in series with other return oil pipes.
Before starting the motor, you must first inject enough clean
hydraulic oil into the motor housing from the two oil ports, and
then rotate the output shaft. If there is no abnormality, you can
install it.
The radial load on the motor output shaft must not exceed the
specified limit.
System design:
The intermittent working pressure of the motor refers to the
maximum working pressure that the motor oil inlet can withstand;
while the continuous working pressure refers to the pressure
difference between the oil inlet and the oil return port.
The motor cannot be used at maximum speed and maximum pressure at
the same time.
Under intermittent working conditions, the motor should not run for
more than 10% per minute.
The maximum oil temperature is 80℃.
The shaft seal assembly used in the cycloidal motor can usually
withstand higher working pressures. However, in order to ensure
good service life and overall mechanical performance, it is
recommended that the back pressure does not exceed 5MPa. If the
back pressure exceeds this range, it is recommended to connect the
external leakage oil pipe.
Before the motor reaches full load, it should be run-in. It is
recommended to run-in at less than 30% of the maximum working
pressure for 1 hour.
Usage and maintenance:
After the motor has been running for about 200 hours, the oil
should be replaced and the oil filter cleaned.
If the oil is too viscous, it may cause cavitation in the oil pump
when starting in cold weather, which may damage the oil pump.
When selecting hydraulic oil, all components in the system must be
considered and adjusted appropriately to obtain the best viscosity
range.
If the color of the oil turns black, it may indicate an overheating
problem.
If the oil is emulsified, there may be water contamination.
