Installation direction: Rexroth DBD series pressure relief valves can be installed horizontally or vertically, but when installing, pay attention to the direction of the water flow inlet and outlet of the valve body to ensure correct connection.
Drain outlet design: If the drain outlet is far away or the drainage pipe is too long (more than 20 meters), it is recommended to use a larger diameter drainage pipe to prevent back pressure caused by poor water flow and keep the pipe network pressure stable.
Precautions during pressure test: During the pressure test of the
fire water supply system, if the system test pressure is higher
than the nominal pressure of the pressure relief valve, the cut-off
valve should be closed to prevent damage or failure of the pressure
relief valve.
Troubleshooting: If the pressure relief valve fails to control
during operation, first check whether the pipeline is unobstructed,
then check whether the water filter on the control pipeline is
blocked, whether the main valve and pilot valve film are broken,
and whether the sealing gasket is damaged.
Precautions for the use of safety valves: Rexroth hydraulic
safety valves must be installed vertically, and there should be no
resistance at the outlet. Special tests should be carried out
