The 90-degree elbow is the most commonly used type of elbow in pipeline installation, serving to change the direction of piping systems. 90-degree elbows are categorized by their bending radius into long radius (LR) elbows and short radius (SR) elbows. Other common types of elbows used in fluid pipeline construction include 45-degree and 180-degree elbows.
