Hard Rock Crushing Jaw Crusher Concrete Quarry Jaw Crusher Machine
Introduction:
TONTEN Machinery jaw crusher crushes materials through periodic
squeezing between the movable and fixed jaws. It is the most basic
and core coarse crushing equipment in an ore crushing production
line. The entire jaw crusher's basic structure is typically
constructed of high-quality welded steel plates or cast steel,
requiring extremely high strength and rigidity to withstand
significant impact loads. The eccentric shaft is supported by large
spherical roller bearings. The eccentric portion drives the movable
jaw, converting the motor's rotational motion into squeezing
motion. The connecting rod serves as both a force transmission
component and an overload protection device. When uncrushable
material (such as iron blocks) enters the crushing chamber, the
connecting rod breaks or snaps first, protecting other core
components of the main unit from damage. An adjustment device is
used to adjust the size of the discharge opening, thereby
controlling the final product particle size. A flywheel is mounted
at each end of the eccentric shaft. It stores energy during the
idle stroke and releases it during the working stroke (squeezing
material), thereby reducing motor load and ensuring smoother
machine operation.
Working Principle:
The process can be summarized as a cyclical
"feed-extrusion-discharge" cycle:
Feeding and Clamping: Material falls from the feed opening at the top of the crusher into the crushing chamber. Driven by the eccentric shaft and connecting rod, the movable jaw plate moves toward the fixed jaw plate, clamping the material between the two jaw plates.
Extrusion and Crushing: The movable jaw plate continues to move forward and upward, exerting tremendous pressure on the material. When the pressure exceeds the material's compressive strength, the material is squeezed, split, and crushed.
Discharge: As the movable jaw plate retreats, the crushed material moves downward due to gravity. Material smaller than the current discharge opening size is discharged from the bottom, while larger material remains in the crushing chamber, awaiting re-extrusion during the next cycle.
Reciprocating Cycle: The eccentric shaft continuously rotates, driving the movable jaw plate in reciprocating motion hundreds of times per minute. This process repeats itself, achieving continuous feeding, crushing, and discharge.
