Workflow (Role in the Production Line):
In a complete sand and gravel production line, the jaw crusher
typically performs the primary crushing function:
Feed → Jaw crusher (primary crushing) → (intermediate silo) → Cone
crusher/Impact crusher (secondary and tertiary crushing) →
Vibrating screen (screening) → Acceptable material (finished
product) → Unacceptable material returned for further crushing
Process Overview:
Large blasted rock (particle size may reach over 1 meter) is evenly
fed into the jaw crusher by a vibrating feeder. The jaw crusher
crushes it to a particle size of less than 250-300mm. The crushed
material is then transported by a belt conveyor to the next stage
of crushing (such as a cone crusher or impact crusher) for
secondary and tertiary crushing. Finally, a vibrating screen is
used to screen the finished sand and gravel aggregate into
different specifications.
